Rajant Corporation, the pioneer of Kinetic Mesh Networks and provider of proven, multi-frequency mesh networking solutions, today announced the addition of Cesar Benavides to the position of Regional Sales and Service Director – South America.
In his new role, Mr. Benavides will be responsible for developing sales and leading support services in South America. He will report to Todd Rigby, Vice President, Business Development – Mining.

Mr. Benavides joins Rajant after serving as the Commercial Manager in the Peru office for Protab. Prior to that, he was the Country Manager for Peru with Devex Technologia, where he sold dispatch systems into open pit and underground mines. Mr. Benavides spent more than ten years with Modular Mining Systems serving in a variety of roles overseeing service contracts for multiple South American countries. Prior to Modular Mining Systems, he spent time with Contac Ingenieros LTDA and Centromin Peru South America.
Mr. Benavides holds a Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the National University of San Augustin and extended studies in IT and Automatic Control. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
