Blue Lagoon Resources has completed its first finalised production of gold and silver concentrate from the Dome Mountain Gold and Silver Mine near Smithers, British Columbia (BC), Canada.
The Canadian mineral exploration company reported that the initial finalised shipment contained 992oz of gold and 4,181oz of silver.

To date, Blue Lagoon has received approximately $11.6m (C$16.5m) in provisional payments for gold and silver concentrate shipments from the site.
The company began transporting mineralised material from Dome Mountain in mid-November 2025, sending a total of 21,400t to Nicola Mining’s milling facility near Merritt, BC by 30 September 2026.
Of this, around 17,400t has already been processed, with a further 4,000t currently awaiting treatment. Regular weekly shipments of additional material continue.
Processing began at Nicola Mining’s 150t per day facility in February 2026.
The first milling campaign, which included lower-grade development material, processed 5,002 dry tonnes (dt).
Assays before processing estimated that this material included 1,200oz of gold at roughly seven grams per tonne (g/t).
According to final figures provided by Ocean Partners, the offtake partner, the concentrate produced totalled 341.6dt.
Subsequent batches have seen higher mill-feed grades, reported at around 8–10g/t gold, and an average gold recovery of approximately 92%.
The ratio of silver to gold in the concentrates has remained at roughly 4oz to 1oz.
Additional concentrate, totalling 875dt, was produced and shipped by the end of September 2026.
However, final assays for that batch are still pending, meaning the gold and silver quantities have not been disclosed.
Payments received represent around 85% of the provisional value of these shipments. Final amounts will depend on confirmed assays, weights and market prices.
Blue Lagoon noted that these payments are unaudited, gross of costs and do not indicate overall profitability.
Operations and underground development continue at Dome Mountain, with further updates expected as assays and milestones are achieved.
Blue Lagoon vice-president and CEO Rana Vig said: “Operationally, the important development is that Dome Mountain is now functioning through the full production cycle – from underground mining and trucking through milling, concentrate production and sale.
“At the same time, we continue to invest in underground development to provide additional working areas and greater operating flexibility.”
