Peako is set to begin high-resolution magnetic surveys using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over five target areas across its exploration licences in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
The surveys aim to support the company’s first drilling programmes in Saudi Arabia, which are scheduled to commence in October.

The survey work extends across 54km² and involves approximately 1,400 line kilometres, mainly at 30m spacing and flown at a low altitude of 33m for enhanced detail.
Alongside magnetic data, Peako will also collect high-resolution imagery and topographic information.
According to the company, this data will be used to refine structural and lithological models and inform forthcoming drill targeting.
Survey grids have been established over the Sukhaybarat South, Wadi Jarir and Jabal Jumaymah licence areas.
At Sukhaybarat South, three grids cover the Redhill SE, Matar and Karak targets.
The Redhill SE grid aims to improve understanding of the local structural features, where past reverse circulation drilling encountered intersections such as 4m at 11.32 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 5m at 5.6g/t gold.
The Matar grid, covering 15km², targets outcropping unidirectional solidification textures and sampled grades up to 22.9g/t gold.
At Karak, previous rock chip samples contained up to 9.1g/t gold over a 2km strike length and a width of 1.5km.
In the Wadi Jarir area, the 19km² grid is expected to improve the structural model for an 8km × 2km corridor.
Mapping has previously identified gold grades up to 41.5g/t in quartz carbonate veins and historical drilling recorded intervals up to 26m at 0.7g/t gold from 13m.
The Jabal Jumaymah grid, covering 3km², is focused on refining interpretations following scout drilling that uncovered intervals including 7m at 10.12g/t gold.
Reconnaissance sampling at additional sites such as Bulgah East has reported rock chip results up to 5.05g/t gold, with soil anomalies extending more than 10km near the known 3.4 million ounce Bulgah deposit.
