Tocvan Ventures has mobilised additional heavy machinery at its Gran Pilar Gold-Silver Project in Sonora, Mexico.

The company deployed a dozer, excavator and haul truck to expedite trenching and pilot-scale development activities on high-priority areas as part of a fully funded 20,000m drilling programme.

Bulk test materials have been forwarded to a processing plant constructor and a certified laboratory for pilot optimisation.

Additionally, recent surface work has revealed mineralisation in various target areas, supporting the project’s scope and potential.

The company is advancing trenching, road construction and material handling, supported by the newly mobilised machinery.

Tocvan anticipates further drilling results in coming weeks, with data pending for nine exploration holes.

At the Central Magnetic Trend, surface samples have indicated up to 1.2 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 11g/t silver, suggestive of upper-level epithermal mineralisation.

The Gran Pilar project continues to focus on trenching and drilling priority targets including the South Block Main Zone Expansion, the South Block and the North Block.

Previously reported drilling highlights from 2025 include 83.5m at 1.3g/t gold and 97.4m at 0.7g/t gold, amongst others.

Bulk sampling at the Pilar site achieved a 62% gold recovery over a 46-day leaching period.

The head grade was identified as 1.9g/t gold and 7g/t silver, while the extracted grade was 1.2g/t gold and 3g/t silver.

Tocvan CEO Brodie Sutherland said: “The mobilisation of this additional heavy equipment marks a major step forward in our development timeline.

“With two drill rigs in operation new targets are advancing, we are accelerating surface trenching and pilot works to derisk the project and prepare for near-term pilot production.

“This infrastructure push, combined with our ongoing drill success, positions Tocvan to advance rapidly toward a maiden resource estimate while maintaining momentum at Gran Pilar.”

In February this year, the company resumed exploration drilling at the South Block at Gran Pilar.
