EnviroGold is enhancing access to metals by focusing on existing tailings and complex sulphide ore systems, where traditional processing struggles.

Tailings, being pre-mined and often located in areas with infrastructure, offer a quicker and more reliable metal supply, cutting down new project development time.

The company is implementing a centralised processing hub model that uses shared infrastructure to process tailings from various projects.

This minimises the need for stand-alone processing facilities, improves processing capacity and allows flexible commercial arrangements such as licensing and tolling.

This hub model accelerates the shift from project evaluation to production, fostering early revenue generation while reducing capital and development risks.

It also broadens EnviroGold’s market participation by negating the need for separate plant developments across jurisdictions.

EnviroGold aligns with global priorities by securing a stable mineral supply, promoting reduced environmental impact through tailings remediation and mitigating development risks.

The company views this strategy as crucial for expanding its commercial platform, enabling more critical mineral supply opportunities and developing a steady, multi-project revenue stream.

EnviroGold CEO Grant Freeman said: “The centralised processing hub strategy has been developed to support our objective of enabling more efficient access to critical minerals from existing resources.

“By leveraging existing processing capacity, we can accelerate the progression of projects and support earlier revenue opportunities across our pipeline.

“We believe this model enhances our ability to participate in the growing demand for critical minerals while maintaining a disciplined and scalable approach to deployment.”

In April 2024, EnviroGold Global announced its plan to build a demonstration plant to process metals from mine waste in Brisbane, Australia.
