Troubadour Resources has concluded the initial phase of its multi-phase drilling programme and announced assay results for seven drill-holes at the Senneville gold-silver-copper property in Quebec, Canada.

The assays from the seven drill-holes did not reveal significant gold, silver or copper mineralisation and failed to confirm continuity with previously discovered mineralisation to the south-east.

Despite the disappointing outcomes, the data acquired will help guide future exploration by identifying more promising areas for resource allocation.

Troubadour is assessing why the drill-holes did not intersect mineralised zones similar to those found to the west and north-west.

As part of this reassessment, the company plans to reinterpret geophysical survey data and conduct detailed structural analysis to locate any potential offsets or missed zones.

It intends to undertake additional surface exploration, including soil and till sampling, to identify new anomalies that could establish future drill targets.

Further geophysical surveys will be designed to pinpoint chargeability anomalies indicative of mineralised structures for upcoming drilling campaigns.

This approach aims to refine target areas by excluding barren zones and focusing on high-priority, drill-ready sites elsewhere on the property.

The phase one drilling concentrated on the east side of the Gustav Cere showing, extending up to 500m based on recent induced polarisation (IP) survey data.

The primary objective was to assess the continuity of a mineralisation horizon along the Senneville Komatiite contact and test possible parallel horizons along the hanging wall.

Approximately 1,000m was drilled across seven holes targeting near-surface deposits.

For future exploration, Troubadour will prioritise high-potential zones such as Vert Lake, Val Saint George, Contact, Golden Island Fault and Millieu Lake Batholite while defining additional target areas.

As of October 2024, the Senneville property consists of 230 mineral claims covering more than 130km².
