"The Hoist Performance Fingerprint is a cost-effective service that provides diagnostics, key findings and recommendations in less than a week."

ABB service mining global head Remy Lanoue said: "The Hoist Performance Fingerprint is a cost-effective service that provides diagnostics, key findings and recommendations in less than a week.

"By assessing and analysing all electrical and mechanical parts of the hoist system, we offer our customers a comprehensive service solution from a single source. This holistic concept is unique in the underground mining market."

Developed and performed by ABB service experts, the product evaluates, analyses and tests the entire hoist system using high-quality data collected from more than 20 pre-defined points, and a structured tailored analysis tool.
