Comstock Mining has built a crossing that enables it to access mine areas east of the Lucerne Resource Area in Nevada, US, without any major infrastructural changes to the State Route 342.
With the at-grade crossing, the company’s haul trucks can move material from the east-side Lucerne resource area across SR 342 to its american flat processing facilities.

In addition to preparing mine plans for parcels to the east of SR 342, Comstock has already performed some environmental and cultural asset impact assessments on the east-side patented properties.
From past surface and underground operations, the company is also assessing the gold and silver grades that are present in the Silver Hill waste dumps.
Encompassing an almost half-mile-long segment of the Gold Hill / Silver City extension of the Comstock Lode, the east-side of Lucerne already has a vast amount of drilling. Recent drilling represents an aggregate total footage of 270,000ft.
Active drilling and development is currently underway at Lucerne’s near-surface, mineralised area, which is said to represent Comstock’s ongoing development.
