Solstice Minerals has reported wide intervals of copper-gold mineralisation in its first diamond drill-hole tail, NANRCD004, at the Nanadie Copper-Gold Project in Western Australia (WA).
According to the company, the combined reverse circulation (RC) and diamond tail intercept reached a total of 629.1m at 0.50% copper and 0.17 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, from surface to the end of the drill-hole.

The drill-hole, located north-west of Sandstone in WA’s Goldfields, was designed to extend a previous RC hole, NANRC004, which had intersected 62m at 1.55% copper and 0.66g/t gold.
The latest results open up the possibility of extending the known mineralised system more than 300m below the current mineral resource estimate (MRE) boundary.
Key intercepts from NANRCD004 include 30.7m at 1.41% copper and 0.34g/t gold from 461.5m, with a subinterval of 15m at 2.12% copper and 0.47g/t gold from 473m.
Other notable intervals comprise 37.8m at 0.87% copper and 0.25g/t gold from 547m, 33m at 0.66% copper and 0.22g/t gold from 341m and further sequences of mineralisation at varying depths.
Assay outcomes closely matched zones where chalcopyrite mineralisation was observed in geological logging.
The mineralised system at Nanadie has now been traced over a width of 100–200m and a strike of at least 1.2km, remaining open both along strike and at depth.
Solstice Minerals reported it is currently processing further diamond core and RC drilling samples, with results from another 12 completed diamond drill-holes still pending.
The drilling is part of an ongoing exploration campaign to delineate mineral resources at the wholly owned project, which currently hosts an MRE of 40.4 million tonnes.
The site, situated on a granted mining lease with flat terrain, continues to undergo active drilling, with phased programmes targeting step-out exploration and resource expansion.
Solstice Minerals CEO and managing director Nick Castleden said: “We are delighted to release an outstanding set of wide, high-grade copper-gold intercepts in our first diamond drill-hole at Nanadie, providing strong validation of our geological model and providing definitive evidence that this part of the deposit hosts multiple zones of high-grade mineralisation that extend to substantial depths beyond the current MRE limits.”
