Mining and infrastructure solutions company Orica has turned to Dayforce, Ceridian’s flagship cloud human capital management (HCM) platform, to optimise payroll and improve regulatory compliance.

Featuring single data architecture, the Dayforce platform will help Orica bring together global disparate systems such as managed payroll and workforce management to offer a holistic cloud HCM experience.

Following a period of organic growth and global acquisitions, Orica has been seeking a complete solution to unify its staff.

With a workforce of more than 12,500 across 47 nations, Orica plans to use the cloud platform to enable future growth through one system for timely payroll.

The solution is also said to help the miner meet compliance across various geographies.

Orica has teamed up with Deloitte for guidance through the selection process on a solution that could address the complexity and diversity of its global operations, as well as for global payroll knowledge.

To support the implementation of Dayforce, business management consultant Think Best Practice will work alongside Orica, Deloitte, and Ceridian.
