Royal Energy Resources has secured consent from the state board of Wyoming for an all-out lease of 2,100 acres of the Crook County Rare Earth property.
The property hosts rare earth elements (REEs) and precious metals, according to the company.
Royal Energy Resources president Jacob Roth said the company’s REE property is situated near one of the largest rare earth deposits in North America.
"Our next step, in the near term, will be a request a drilling / testing permit from the Wyoming department of environmental quality or land quality division," added Roth.
