Ur-Energy has received a mining permit from the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality for an in-situ recovery uranium project at Lost Creek, Sweetwater County, Wyoming in the US.

The permit will allow Ur-Energy to construct and operate the Lost Creek ISR uranium mine facilities, including the first mine unit.

Ur-Energy President and CEO Wayne Heili said that, with the receipt of the permit, the firm will progress towards full mining operations at the Lost Creek deposit.

Before commencing the construction and operations, the firm will seek approval for the plan of operations from the US Bureau of Land Management.
