The Houndé project is located 250km south-west of Ouagadougou, the capital city of Burkina Faso and benefits from good infrastructure and also from Endeavour’s experience operating at the Youga gold mine, which is also located in Burkina Faso.

The property is within the Houndé greenstone belt and south of Semafo’s Mana mine.

On 5 February 2015, Endeavour received the Houndé mining permit.
