AViTEQ designed and implemented a vibro-conveyor system for the KEZO waste recycling plant in Hinwil, Zurich.
KEZO recycling unit was processing around 200,000t of commercial and domestic waste a year, including sewage sludge. Plant managers wanted to find a way to recover the largest amount of recyclable material possible, while reducing the amount of ash left over and refining the production process. Wet discharge systems were not yeilding the required amount of separation so AViTEQ designed a new dry discharge vibro-separation conveyor that could work more quickly and efficiently and also handle dry ash at extremely high temperatures.
