Towards the end of 2011, Container World was commissioned by Barrick Lumwana to supply and assemble a complete 350-man exploration camp at the Lumwana Mine site in Zambia. The project commenced on 15 January 2012 and was completed on 30 June 2012. This project involved many challenges unique to the location, all of which were handled by Container World’s dedicated staff and through good communication with Barrick Lumwana.

As the deadlines were tight and the logistical costs for the project were going to be high, a mixture of Container World’s Multihouse© flat-pack units and customised converted containers were utilised to ensure that Barrick Lumwana was supplied with a high-quality product at a competitive price.
