UK-based marine environmental consultancy SRSL will be presenting at the forthcoming Deep Sea Mining Summit in London on 31 July – 1 August.

The event will take place at the Cumberland Hotel in London, where SRSL managing director Dr Tracy Shimmield will present ‘The Next Frontier: Deep Sea Mining in Papua New Guinea, Environmental Impacts Assessment, Monitoring and Regulation’ in collaboration with Mr Philip Samar of the Mineral Resource Authority (MRA) of Papua New Guinea.

The Deep Sea Mining Summit 2013 will bring together a large array of solution providers, upcoming deep sea miners, members of the scientific community, and those within the investment market wanting to learn more about the opportunities within this emerging marketplace.

The presentation from SRSL will explore the links between environmental impact assessment, environmental monitoring, the role of smart technology in observations and the development of policy and regulation for deep sea mining in PNG.

If you wish to set up a meeting with SRSL while at the event, drop us an email and we will arrange it for you.
