Under the contract, FLS will deliver a 1,600 × 3,300 TSUV gyratory crusher equipped with a 1,500kW motor and a self-aligning main shaft assembly.
In addition, the company is providing one 40ft × 29ft semi-autogenous grinding (SAG) mill and three 28ft × 48ft ball mills, with a combined installed power of more than 90MW.
The mills will include gearless mill drives, FLS Armor mill liners and the latest self-aligning main bearings.
The package also features the largest SAG mill trommel screen supplied by FLS to date, as well as the largest ball mills to be installed in Chile.
FLS products business line president Qasim Abrahams said: “This significant order reflects the trust placed in our proven crushing and grinding technologies.
“Working closely with our customer and the EPC [engineering, procurement and construction] contractor, we are bringing together our process expertise and equipment technologies to support reliable, energy-efficient performance and maximise productivity throughout the life of the operation.”
Installation and commissioning of the supplied equipment are scheduled for late 2029 and early 2030.
The scope of supply also includes commissioning services and one year of operating spare parts.
The order was booked in the third quarter of 2026, FLS said.
FLS is coordinating with the project’s EPC contractor to ensure integration of its equipment and technical expertise with the overall project design and timelines.
The company specialises in supplying crushing and grinding technologies, citing a history of supporting mineral processing operations with high-throughput, large-scale equipment.
