Aben Gold has started its 2026 diamond drilling campaign at its wholly owned Justin Gold-Tungsten Project in Canada’s southeastern Yukon Territory, approximately 25km from the Cantung Mine.

The company reported that it had finished the first drill pad at the POW Zone, mobilised a diamond drill rig, and begun drilling activities.

Construction is underway on a second drill pad at the same zone, with plans for a third pad about 2km northwest at the Lost Ace zone.

Aben Gold stated the 1,300m programme is ahead of schedule.

The main focus of the 2026 drilling will be at the POW Zone, where the company aims to examine the continuity and depth of gold and tungsten mineralisation identified in previous campaigns.

Historic 2011 diamond drilling reported 1.25g/t gold over 60m in hole JN11-009 and 2.52g/t gold with 29.53g/t silver over 12m in hole JN11-010.

Subsequent tungsten re-assaying of JN11-010 also returned 0.25% tungsten trioxide over the same 12m interval.

The current drill plan will test areas between these earlier discovery holes and to step out towards hole JN12-018, where 88.5m at 0.73 g/t gold was previously reported.

A third drill target in the POW Zone has been designated to investigate the distribution and structural controls of tungsten.

Two drill holes will target the space between the discovery intercepts and hole JN12-016, which previously produced 5.6m at 4.12g/t gold, including 2.6m at 8.20g/t gold, and 8.5m at 0.39% tungsten trioxide, with a 1m interval grading 1.12% tungsten trioxide.

In the Lost Ace zone, drilling will assess high-grade orogenic gold veins beneath the surface.

Previous channel trench samples from this area yielded 20.8g/t gold over 4.4m and 88.2g/t gold over 1m.

In May 2026, Aben Gold secured a Class 3 Quartz Mining Land Use Approval over a five-year period from the Yukon Government’s Department of Energy, Mines & Resources.a
