MaxMine has expanded its mining fleet management, introducing new business intelligence tools and AI-powered decision support aimed at improving productivity for mine operators.

As mine operators seek to combine operational data with real-time analysis, the company says its fleet management system (FMS) is designed to offer performance improvements without increasing operational complexity.
The company plans to integrate high-precision GPS technology through a new partnership with Swedish machine control provider L5 Navigation.
This collaboration will deliver Machine Guidance, a system that allows operators to pinpoint the exact location of equipment such as drills, diggers, dozers and wheel loaders.
The technology uses a global navigation satellite system receiver and allows users to visualise maps, surfaces and blocks within a synchronised 3D environment.
These GPS and machine tracking capabilities will be embedded within MaxMine’s Pulse product, offering real-time visibility into machine location, payload, production status and operational cycles.
The company says its Impact service will use this data to create targeted improvement programmes across key operational areas including production, safety, roads and asset health.
MaxMine states it has worked with both global and local mining companies over the past decade.
During this time, the company conducted more than 230 incident investigations, tracking and optimising more than 580 million tonnes annually, and analysing more than 14 million hours of data focused on productivity, safety and sustainability.
