The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 6.79% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.

Out of the mining industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 8.5% share in April 2022, recording a decrease of 0.25% over the last three-month average share.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 50% in April 2022, registering a 64.29% decline over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 40% share, a decrease of 50% over the previous month.

ThyssenKrupp posted 7 IT jobs in April 2022 and registered a drop of 56.25% over the previous month, followed by Heraeus with 2 jobs and a 77.78% drop. SSAB with 1 IT jobs, recorded a flat growth.

Junior Level job postings dominate in April 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 70%, down by 61.11% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with a 20% share, registered a decline of 60% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10% share, down 66.67% over March 2022.
