Redback Engineering, established in 2004, offers a 24/7 service to the mining industry. We currently employ six people who have a combined experience of over 40 years in the underground and open cut mining industries.

Our day-to-day operations include the manufacture of a number of different designs of underground trailers, waste and fresh water pump tanks, machining, fabrication, welding and structural repairs on all types of mining and other equipment.

Safety bar seat restraint system for mining vehicles

Our company has developed and holds the design registration for the safety drop-bar seat restraint system for the underground PJ Berriman (PJB) and specialised mining vehicle (SMV) man transports. This seat restraint set-up has been fitted to man transports at both Tahmoor and Ashton Collieries, with several more units on order.

We offer man transport safety-bar seating restraints, body and suspension modifications, various types of mine vehicle seat belts and assorted tow pins.
