Geolorn, has set up leading independent drilling services contractor, Apex Drilling Services, with an advanced Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling and sampling system.
Working with their partner companies, Driconeq, Numa Hammers and Skelair; Geolorn, converted Apex’s Comacchio drilling rig, allowing for 400m-deep exploration holes.
Driconeq’s RC drill pipes, use an advanced sealing system, which lowers pressure losses in the delivery air pressure, increasing the energy delivered to the Numa RC hammer and creating a greater pressure differential (vortex) within the inner pipe, forcing cuttings up inside the drill pipe. Small differences make the largest impacts.
