Today McQuaid Engineering confirmed that it will be exhibiting its range of MQ attachments for the mining, quarrying, recycling and construction industries at one of the world’s biggest trade shows dedicated to construction materials and equipment. The international Intermat exhibition will be held at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre in France from 20 to 25 April inclusive.

Alongside 1,300 other main players and exhibitors in the global construction materials and equipment sector, McQuaid will be showcasing its internationally renowned range of hydraulic rock breaker boom systems. It will also focus on promoting its hydraulic recycling attachments, which include a range of selector, scrap and waste grabs.

With an expected visitor count of over 200,000, this exhibition is indeed unique and despite the current economic climate, the company is optimistic that this is an opportunity not to be missed. Marketing manager Amanda Armstrong stated, “Exhibiting at Intermat is a must as it enables us to represent the company and our products to our international audience. We also see it as an opportunity to meet industry leaders from around the world and seek dealers.”

This is by no means the first taste of international business for the company, as in recent years McQuaid Engineering has expanded its customer base geographically and continued to be successful in selling into a variation of markets. Based in Northern Ireland, it supplies its products worldwide either directly or via an experienced network of distributors and agents throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, USA and South America.

As the Intermat exhibition takes place only once every three years the company is looking forward to meeting and welcoming attendees onto its stand, which is situated in hall 3, aisle E at stand number 078. Here, skilled McQuaid engineering personnel will be available to provide further information and discuss opportunities with interested parties.
