Philippines-based Marcventures Holdings’ subsidiary Marcventures Mining and Development Corp has signed an agreement to sell nickel laterite ore to Dunfeng International.

The nickel miner will put up for sale three million wet metric tonnes of nickel laterite ore, which will be exported to China.

The sales contract is expected to be complete within three years.

Marcventures Holdings began nickel ore shipments from its own causeway in Carrascal, Surigao del Su, from August 2010.

The company exported a total of 217,265 wet metric tonnes of nickel ore to China, reports abs-cbnnews.com.
