Comstock Mining has received a special use permit from the Storey County Board of Commissioners to further develop its exploration drilling in the southern portion of Storey County in Nevada, US.

Comstock Mining president and CEO Corrado De Gasperis said that the permit enables expanded drilling, primarily in the broader Lucerne Resource Area, which is currently the firm’s largest target area.

The firm has also submitted a separate drilling plan to the Nevada Department of Environmental Protection for expanded exploration drilling of the Company’s mining properties in Lyon County.

The two permits will authorise the next phases of drilling in the Lucerne, Dayton and Spring Valley Resource areas.
