The Cloudbreak Enhancement Project Team (CEPT) joint venture, comprising AMEC and KAGC, has received a £160m engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the ore handling plant wet front end project in Western Australia.

Under the EPC contract, AMEC will provide detailed engineering, procurement of equipment and site support for the project.

CEPT JV has received the contract from Fortescue Metals Group for its Cloudbreak mine, which currently produces 30Mtpa of iron ore.
