Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) have in recent years become a powerful technique for the generation of Digital Terrain Models (DTM) of relatively limited areas.
The aim of this project has been to explore possibilities to create DTMs with the height uncertainty of 20mm or less from the UAS data.
Three flights have been carried out in the city of Gävle during the third quarter of 2013 and first quarter of 2014 using an UAS, SmartOne C from SmartPlanes, with two different cameras and under different weather conditions.
