Flexco, the world’s premier supplier of belt maintenance products, recently appointed Steve Hennessey to the position of Project Sales Manager – North America.

In this position, Hennessey will manage future growth of the projects business through the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that generate sales growth in key market areas. He will be responsible for establishing and leveraging relationships with major engineering firms, end users, and mining companies at the corporate level.

"Steve comes to Flexco with 18 years of national business development, marketing, and sales training experience," Martin O’Neill, global projects director for Flexco, said. "We are looking forward to utilizing his knowledge and experience, as well as his sales and marketing acumen, to further develop the North American market."

Hennessey earned his bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University and his M.B.A. from North Central College in Illinois.

"I’m looking forward to building upon the strong brand image Flexco has already established with the mechanical belt fastener and belt conveyor product lines in North America," Hennessey said. "And I plan to use that to educate potential customers about the entire portfolio of Flexco products and the solutions that we offer."
