Singapore, November 15, 2004 – Dorr-Oliver Eimco Singapore Pte. Ltd (Dorr-Oliver Eimco), a subsidiary of the Canadian based company Groupe Laperrière & Verreault Inc., secured an order totaling over CA$1.2 million with Veolia Water Systems South Asia Sdn. Bhd. for the supply of Reactor-Clarifier™ Solids-Contact units.

This order includes two 63m-diameter Eimco® Reactor Clarifier™ Solids-Contact units to be installed at the Mahasawat water treatment plant near Bangkok, Thailand, owned by Metropolitain Water Authority. Dorr-Oliver Eimco will also provide engineering, supervision during the installation, and commissioning on the project. Delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of 2005.

This is part of the Phase III of the expansion project of the water treatment plant. Each Reactor Clarifier, the largest of its kind in municipal water treatment application, will be able to handle a flow rate of over 8,000m³/hr, bringing the total capacity of the plant to 1,260,000m³/day.

“We are very proud with this order due to the fact that the customer went with competitor’s equipment for the first two phases. This project is in line with our strategy to increase our presence in Asia and our market share in the water treatment business,” commented Richard Verreault, Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer, Groupe Laperrière & Verreault Inc.
