Mammoth Equipment & Exhausts, in partnership with Epiroc, hosted an exclusive Epiroc Customer Day at Mammoth’s Innovation Centre in Western Australia, bringing together underground mining customers to experience the next generation of haulage and emissions technology in action.

The event showcased Epiroc’s Minetruck MT65 S and Minetruck MT66 S eDrive, the world’s largest underground haul truck, alongside Mammoth’s advanced thermal and emissions solutions engineered to meet the mining industry’s growing demand for durability, efficiency, and environmental performance.

“Last week’s events were all about seeing innovation in motion,” said Robert Lejonberg, Epiroc’s R&D Transfer Lead. “The Minetruck MT66 S eDrive and Minetruck MT65 S showcased how far we’ve come in performance, efficiency, and sustainability — and why collaboration matters. We chose to partner with Mammoth because of their proven capability in thermal and emissions engineering. The Inkpen Innovation Centre provides a controlled mining-simulation environment where we can test, validate, and refine ideas under mine-representative conditions offering the flexibility to innovate without the constraints of live mine operations, and providing an exclusive space where innovation truly comes to life.”

“Working alongside Epiroc and John Deere, we’ve developed a DPF system that performs reliably at lower exhaust temperatures while meeting stringent emission standards,” said Jerry Draffin, Director, Mammoth Equipment & Exhausts. “Together with our 9000 Series Thermal Covers — which significantly reduce surface heat — this represents what’s possible when technology partners focus on solving real operational challenges with practical, durable solutions.”
