Autonomous Operator System (AOS) – Software

Think of AOS as the digital co-pilot for your mining machines. When operators step away—like during shift changes—AOS takes over to execute basic and repetitive tasks, keeping the machine working without delay.

At the core of AOS is the cyberHUB, a robust onboard control unit that integrates machine control, data processing, and connectivity. Add-ons like AutoHUB enable task execution without constant supervision. Supporting modules include:

• neroTROC – Throttle Override Control

• neroHAC – Hydraulic Actuator Control

• neroEAC – Electric Actuator Control

• neroPAC – Pneumatic Actuator Control

These modules ensure safe and precise actuation of machine functions, no matter the system type.

Underground Positioning System (UPS) – Electronics

Positioning underground is notoriously difficult—but essential for autonomous machines to know exactly where they are. Our radar-based UPS, also referred to as PPS, delivers real-time location accuracy of ±20cm.

Unlike camera or LiDAR systems, it’s unaffected by dust, darkness, or harsh underground conditions. This is your foundation for safe navigation, route repetition, and spatial awareness in confined environments.

Mission Planning System (MPS) – Software

MPS puts automation in the hands of the miner. Through a simple and intuitive interface, site supervisors can assign work, plot routes, and define machine actions with minimal training.

The system works hand-in-hand with our navigation modules and AOS, allowing operators to focus on oversight while machines follow assigned missions from start to finish.

Traffic Management System (TMS) – Software

Mines are dynamic. You’ve got multiple machines, tight spaces, and critical timing. Our TMS brings order to the chaos.

Using situational awareness and fleet data, the system prioritises traffic flow—deciding which vehicle gets right of way, when to pause movement, and how to avoid bottlenecks. Powered by TerraHUB, it keeps everything moving efficiently, reducing delays and increasing throughput.
