Canadian miner Troilus Gold has signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with Aurubis, a German copper smelter and recycler, for the long-term offtake of copper-gold concentrate from the Troilus Project in north-central Québec.
This MoA builds on the indicative offtake terms announced this June, advancing Troilus’ partnership with Aurubis to a more formal stage.

The agreement establishes the framework for long-term concentrate supply and strengthens the alignment between the two companies as Troilus advances toward project financing and development.
The offtake agreement builds on the positive feasibility results of the Troilus Project, which is estimated to produce around 75,000 tonnes per annum of copper-gold concentrate.
The MoA establishes commercial terms for a significant portion of Troilus’ concentrate to be delivered to Aurubis and is advancing in parallel with the company’s broader debt financing package of up to $700m (C$963.35m), announced in March 2025.
The Canadian company said that the move outlines its position as a future North American supplier to European geographies, and places Troilus as a project of “strategic importance” to Canada, Québec and international partners.
