Peninsula Energy has received the final supplemental environmental impact statement (SEIS) from the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission for the Lance central processing plant (CPP) and Ross permit area (RPA) of its Lance uranium projects in Wyoming, US.
The Lance projects are located on the north-east flank of the Powder River basin in Wyoming.

The company anticipates source and by-product material license (SML) approval by 31 March, which will mark the conclusion of the licencing process.
Peninsula Energy noted that, after successful completion of all the regulations, the company will have completed full construction and anticipate uranium production.
The SEIS will perform a comprehensive review of the project-specific environmental aspects and mitigation measures of the CPP and RPA.
The SEIS will also consider the impact of alternatives to the proposed action, as well as mitigation measures to either reduce or avoid adverse effects.
