The amended plan of operations (APO) was previously approved by the federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

Coral’s environmental compliance and permitting consultants, SRK Consulting, originally submitted the APO in April 2010, but it was recalled in June 2010, when the BLM determined that a new environmental assessment (EA) of the Robertson property would be required.

Coral requested SRK Consulting to conduct the new EA, which would include third party studies on archaeological, air quality, water, rodents, migratory species, raptors, reptiles, vegetation, insects and endangered species and a number of other environmental issues.

SRK completed and submitted the EA in September 2012. Following BLM review, comment period, and several amendments, the final EA was re-filed in June 2013.
