Glencore is to begin the recruitment process for more than 200 positions at its Collinsville Coal Mine in Australia.
The company will begin the hiring process as the mine returns to production.

In December 2015, Glencore cut production at the Collinsville mine due to poor demand in the coal market.
It had also reduced its employee strength by 180 people from its 230 workforce. Around 140 of them were redeployed in various other mines and Glencore operations.
With the increase in demand for a specific type of coal produced at Collinsville, the company has decided to boost the production.
Glencore Queensland open-cut coal business head Tony Galvin said: “Our Collinsville mine has made material progress in increasing operational efficiencies and reducing costs in the current market and the decision to return to production is positive news for the local community and the wider region.”
