Here are the five largest silver mines by production in the US, according to GlobalData’s mining database.

1. Greens Creek Mine

The Greens Creek Mine is a underground mine located in Alaska. It is owned by Hecla Mining and produced an estimated 9,243 Thousand Ounces of silver in 2021. The mine will operate until 2031.

2. Red Dog Mine

Located in Alaska, the Red Dog Mine is owned by Teck Resources. The surface mine produced an estimated 8,574 Thousand Ounces of silver in 2021. The mine will operate until 2032.

3. Continental Mine
