Five largest coal mines in Peru in 2021

Here are the five largest coal mines by production in Peru, according to GlobalData’s mining database.

1. San Roque F M Mine

The San Roque F M Mine is located in Ancash. It is owned by San Roque F.M. S.A.C. and produced an estimated 48,660 Tonnes of coal in 2021.

2. Minera Carbonifera Andina

Located in La Libertad, the Minera Carbonifera Andina is owned by Transportes, Servicios Mineros y Agricolas S.A.C.. The mine produced an estimated 8,024 Tonnes of coal in 2021.

3. S.M.R.L. Coal Mine

4. Atalaya Mine
