Metals of Africa will focus on testing the Tanga copper-gold project in Tanzania that holds a 5km long copper anomaly as part of its 2014 exploration season.
Over the next six weeks, Metals of Africa will carry out an in-fill soil sampling programme and geological mapping to extensively evaluate the copper anomaly.

The company will also undertake its first phase of exploration at the Mkindu iron oxide-copper-gold (IOCG) project in the eastern region of Tanzania.
The Mkindu project was acquired as part of a portfolio of five highly prospective exploration assets.
After the completion of drilling, the company plans to conduct surface exploration at the Mkindu project.
Furthermore, Metals of Africa is also preparing for this year’s exploration season at Rio Mazoe and Changara lead-zinc-silver project in Mozambique, with plans to carry out ground geophysics and drilling.

Metals of Africa is currently focused on the Mkindu project’s Olympic Dam Style/IOCG target and the Tanga project in Tanzania.
Earlier in February, the company had revealed assay results from drilling at the Rio Mazoe lead-zinc-silver project, and drilling for a total of 1719.96m at the Rulio prospect, with five holes intersecting high-grades of lead, zinc and copper mineralisation.
