Centerra Gold said workers have ended their ten-day long strike at its Kumtor gold mine in Kyrgyzstan.

The company said a new collective agreement has been ratified by the union.

Workers at the Kumtor mine, which accounted for a quarter of Kyrgyzstan’s industrial output last year, were demanding a hike in their pay.

The company has reaffirmed its prior annual production for Kumtor mine at 530,000-570,000oz of gold production.
