Workers at Newmont’s Indonesian unit have agreed to end a strike over pay.
The workers at PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara had been on strike since 2 August.
PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara general manager Darren Hall said the mine has returned to normal operations, reports Reuters.
The company said both parties are committed to following the legal process to reach a final and binding legal decision.
Nusa Tenggara has operated the Batu Hijau copper and gold mine in West Sumbawa since 2000, and has about 7,000 employees and contractors.
