Exploration company Discovery Metals is planning to spend $150m to develop the Boseto copper project in Botswana.
The company aims to build a concentrator, tails dam and related facilities at Boseto after completing a bankable feasibility study (BFS) in March 2010.
Discovery Metals expects the Boseto project’s annual copper output to reach 25,600t and its silver production to reach 691,000oz, starting mid-2011.
