Archipelago Resources has received a letter of support from the Provincial Government of North Sulawesi, Indonesia, and environmental approval for the development of its Toka Tindung gold project.
The company can restart construction activities and resume talks with prospective project financiers.
The company has already resumed discussions with engineering companies to finish construction of the processing unit at Toka Tindung.
Archipelago managing director Colin Loosemore said the company is targeting initial gold production in the last quarter of 2010 subject to successful project finance talks and continued progress on the ground.
