Canada-based Centerra Gold said operating licences at its Boroo mine site in Mongolia have been reinstated by the chairman of the Minerals Resources Authority (MRA).

A decree has been issued lifting the three-month suspension order received on 12 June 2009, Canterra said.

The MRA suspended the Boroo mine site licences accusing the company of improper operating procedures, incorrect record keeping and inappropriate land use at the site, Reuters reports.

Centerra plans to resume full mining and milling operations at the Boroo mine in the next few days.

The Boroo heap leach facility will remain closed until an additional permitting process is completed, Canterra said.
