Activity has resumed at PanAust’s Phu Kham copper-gold operation in Laos after it was shut down due to a SAG mill motor failure on 19 June.
The company has corrected the causes of the two rotor and stator failures, it said in a statement.
PanAust advanced its one-week annual major plant shutdown from July, which limited the unscheduled downtime to four days.
The next major scheduled shutdown for a ball mill reline is in January 2010.
