Australian miner Mount Gibson Iron has entered into a formal Heritage Protection and Exploration Agreement with the Koolan Island’s Dambimangari Native Title Group.

The agreement has been signed in relation to a western section of Koolan Island, located off the Kimberley Coast, that has never been drilled but is expected to include strongly developed hematite bearing ridges.

Mount Gibson is required to complete a work clearance survey and obtain regulatory approvals before conducting exploration.
