Mesa Exploration has acquired a 2.5km² potash lease from the US state of Utah, through a competitive lease offering.

The lease will now be combined with the company’s Whipsaw project. Together the projects measure 75km².

The new project lies within the Paradox Basin, a large sedimentary basin containing 29 separate cycles of salt, potash and sediments.
