Woulfe Mining is planning to start production from its Sangdong tungsten and molybenum project in South Korea in 2012, the company has announced.

Woulfe has completed a 19-hole geotechnical drill programme, which will lead to the finalisation of the process plant layout and allow the detailed civil engineering to move forward.

The firm will submit a construction application to the county authorities following the grant of a permit on the land lease and purchase.

Woulfe Mining president and CEO Brian Wesson said the recent drilling has confirmed historical data and the results have been above resource grade.

“We are pushing ahead with the pre-feasibility and full feasibility in parallel with an updated resource estimate coming shortly,” Wesson said.
