Australia’s CGA Mining’s daily throughput production at the Masbate gold project in the Philippines reached 21,831 dry tons of ore on 10 November 2010.

On 10 May, the project had a record ore output of 20,256 dry tons.

During the third quarter, throughput at the project amounted to 1.45 million tons of ore with a grade of 1.27g of gold a ton.

The plant has an annual throughput level of four million tons of ore, or some 11,000 dry tons a day.

The mining company has invested $15m to increase the throughput level to 6.5 million tons of ore per annum and reach an annual production of 200,000oz of gold.
