Dassault Systèmes has announced plans to acquire geological modeling and simulation company Gemcom Software International for approximately $360m.

Dassault Systèmes has announced plans to acquire geological modeling and simulation company Gemcom Software International for approximately $360m.

Gemcom is a provider of software solutions for the mining industry, while Dassault Systèmes is a provider of 3D design, 3D digital mock up and product lifecycle management solutions.

Pan Terra Industries has completed the acquisition of the Kombat Copper Project in Northern Namibia.

The company said it has acquired 80% of the issued and outstanding shares of Manila Investments, the Namibian private company which previously held a 100% interest in the Kombat Copper Project, including infrastructure, equipment and mining licenses.

Pan Terra has paid $10m in less non-refundable deposits in the total amount of $650,000, seven million common shares and issuance of seven million share purchase warrants.

Kincora Copper announced the closing of the transaction to acquire 100% of the outstanding shares in Golden Grouse, a Mongolian based indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Temujin Mining Corp.

Kincora has issued a portfolio company of Aberdeen International and an investment corporation 20 million shares of Kincora to Temujin. On closing, Temujin retained 1,516,545 Kincora shares.

Golden Grouse holds mineral exploration licenses 15075X and 15076X adjoining Kincora's Bronze Fox project in Mongolia.

Kenai Resources has purchased 100% of the issued shares (quotas) of Gold Aura do Brasil Mineracao from Gold Anomaly, following receipt of regulatory approval of a share purchase agreement.

The company will issue 10 million common shares to GOA and forgive all debts owed by Gold Anomaly totaling approximately $3.5m.
