Mesa Uranium has awarded a contract to Continental Metallurgical Services (CMS) for its Pine Valley potash project in Utah, US.

Under the contract, CMS will review metallurgical and engineering reports, update capital costs and develop an economic analysis per NI 43-101 standards to determine the viability of mine development for the Pine Valley potash project.

CMS is also required to provide technical assistance for the Green Energy lithium project, a mineral-rich brine project located in the same region.

The Pine Valley deposit, acquired by Mesa last month, has a historical resource of 82.7 million tons averaging 35.5% alunite.
